Protect your business, your partners and your family
Your business is probably your biggest asset, and it depends on a few people. I help owners plan for the day something goes wrong, and for the day they want to step back.

What happens to the business if you are not there?
Six areas I look at with owners, in plain language.
Key person insurance
If your business depends on you, a partner or a top salesperson, this cover gives it money to stay steady while you find and train a replacement.
Buy-sell agreement funding
Partners often agree to buy each other out but have no money set aside to do it. Life and critical illness cover can fund that promise.
Succession planning
Whether the plan is a family member, a partner or a sale, I help you line up the funds and the timing so the handover is calm.
Loan and lease protection
Banks and landlords still want paying if an owner passes away or becomes ill. Cover can be matched to what you owe.
Group benefits for your team
Health, dental and life benefits help you keep good people. I compare plans that fit a small team and a real budget.
Cover for you as the owner
Critical illness, disability and overhead expense cover protect your income and keep the doors open while you recover.

How I work with business owners
No jargon and no pressure. You decide at every step.
1. A free chat
We talk about your business, who depends on whom, and what worries you. About 20 minutes by phone or video.
2. A look at the gaps
I list what would hurt most if a key person were gone, and what cover you already have.
3. Options you can compare
I show choices from several insurers, explain the trade offs, and you decide what fits. I work alongside your accountant and lawyer.

Business owner questions
Is this different from personal life insurance?
The products can be similar, but the purpose is different. Business cover is set up around the company, its partners and its debts, and who owns and pays for the policy matters. I work with your accountant so it is structured properly.
How much key person cover does a business need?
A common starting point is the profit the person brings in, or the cost to replace and train someone, over a few years. We work out a number that suits your business, not a formula from a brochure.
Do I need a buy-sell agreement?
If you have partners, it is worth having. Your lawyer writes the agreement. I help with the funding, so the money is there when the agreement is triggered.
Can a very small business or a one person company get cover?
Yes. Sole owners often need cover the most, because everything depends on one person. Disability and critical illness cover matter a lot here.
Do you help with employee benefits?
Yes. I compare group plans for teams of different sizes, and I explain what is covered before you sign.
How are you paid?
Insurers pay brokers a commission, so my advice does not add to your premium. I will always tell you how I am paid on any product.
